Canonical is excited to announce that DataArt, a technology consulting firm, has joined the Charm Partner Programme.
Canonical’s Charm Partner Programme helps solution providers make best use of Canonical’s cloud orchestration tool, Juju; enabling instant integration, scaling at the click of a button, simple to share blueprint deployments and an easy way to deliver solutions in minutes.
DataArt’s product DeviceHive is an opensource solution enabling easy connectivity between devices, making any connected device part of the Internet of Things (IoT). It provides the communication layer, control software and multi-platform libraries to bootstrap development of smart energy, home automation, remote sensing, telemetry, remote control and monitoring software, and much more.
“Our recent joint demo at Mobile World Congress was an enormous success. DeviceHive is solving the problem of supporting different IoT standards. Any Ubuntu Core device can be IoT standard enabled via a simple Snappy App. By joining CPP, anybody can deploy a complete cloud IoT back office solution in minutes and integrate it quickly into any IoT Ubuntu Core device. We are thrilled to formally welcome DataArt to the Juju ecosystem,” said Maarten Ectors, VP of IoT at Canonical.
“It’s thrilling to see how DataArt’s ongoing investment in IoT has been paying off, with our DeviceHive becoming the solution of choice for solving cross-platform issues across industries,” said Artyom Astafurov, head of IoT practice at DataArt. “Within the Juju ecosystem, DeviceHive can be the fabric that bridges various consumer and industrial IoT devices, allowing to split the logic between the edge and the cloud, helping clients build IoT solutions that address a variety of requirements for new and existing products”.
